Wereldmuseum

The Wereldmuseum is an ethnographic museum and is previously called as Museum voor Land- en Volkenkunde. It is located in Willemskade of Rotterdam, the second largest city of Netherland.


The museum was established in the year 1883, and exhibits more than 1800 ethnographic items belonging to the varied civilization of Oceania, Asia, the Americas, Africa, and the Islamic heritage.


The museum is located in gorgeous Scheepvaartkwartier, town ambience.You can also visit the Buddhist chapel inside the museum. Drop in at the extraordinary restaurant offering yummy foods.

Museum opening hours

The Special exhibition is opened from 10 am to 8 pm

The Museum shop is opened from 11am to 8pm

The Restaurant is opened from 12 noon.

The collection is opened from 10 am to 8 pm

Café-Winebar is opened from 10am

On every Mondays, Newyear, Jan 1st, April 30th, Dec 25th the museum is closed.


Admission fees

Admission fees for adults is 12 Euros

No entry ticket for kids below 3 years.
