How to register?

  • Select your location (country).
  • Click Register link at the top right corner to create an account.
  • Fill all the required information.
  • Enter your valid email address when you register because our system will send your password to your email.
  • After entered your information, click Create My Account button.
  • After successful registration you will receive an email with your account information.
  • If you do not receive your account information in your inbox, Please check your spam/junk folders.

What is "Remember Me" on login screen?

If you check the "Remember Me" box, you can stay logged on this computer for up to 2 weeks or until you log out.
This will store your identity securely in a cookie on your computer. If you are using a shared computer, such as in a office, school or internet cafe, or if you have reason to not trust any other users that might use this computer, we recommend you uncheck this.

I forgot my password

  • Click Login link at the top right corner.
  • Click Forgot Password link at the left side.
  • Please enter your user name or the email which you had registered with us.
  • After entered your information, click Submit button.
  • We will send a password change request to your email.
  • Open your email then click the link provided.
  • Then a new password will be generated and emailed to you.

How to edit my account/profile?

  • Login first.
  • Click My Account link at the top right corner.
  • Update your information, then click Update My Account button.

How to change my password?

  • Login first.
  • Click My Account link at the top right corner.
  • Click Change Password link at the left side.
  • Enter your old password.
  • Enter your new password.
  • Then click Change My Password button.
  • Your new password will be emailed to you.

How to change my profile picture?

  • Login first.
  • Click My Account link at the top right corner.
  • Click My Picture link at the left side.
  • Select your picture by clicking the browse button.
  • Then click Change My Picture button.
  • Please wait until your picture is uploaded.
  • If you want to remove your picture click Set Default Picture button.

How to change my avatar?

  • Login first.
  • Click My Account link at the top right corner.
  • Click My Avatar link at the left side.
  • Select your picture by clicking the browse button.
  • Then click Change My Avatar button.
  • Please wait until your picture is uploaded.
  • If you want to remove your picture click Set Default Avatar button.

I registered but did not receive my user name and password.

  • If you did not receive your account information in your inbox, Please check your spam/junk folders.
  • If you still can not find your account information, please contact us with your email address.

How to view my profile?

You can view your profile in 3 ways.

  1. Click your name at the top right corner.
  2. Click View Profile in My Account Page.
  3. By searching your name in Find Friends menu.

How to stop members from contacting me by email?

  • Login first.
  • Click My Account link at the top right corner.
  • Scroll to the Privacy block.
  • Change the settings according to your preference.
  • Then click Update My Account button.

How to stop members from posting on my wall?

  • Login first.
  • Click My Account link at the top right corner.
  • Scroll to the Privacy block.
  • Change the settings according to your preference.
  • Then click Update My Account button.

How to stop/enable alert notifications from AbroadIndians?
