How to obtain passport for new born baby in Kuwait ?

If you wish to get passport for your baby who is born when you are in Kuwait, then you need to have the following documents


Documents needed

Form 1C Application form that is duly filled

Photographs

2 recent passports of your baby of 35mm x 45 mm in size having a clear white background & in a dress if possible in colours providing difference with the background for clearness.

Both Parents’ (Father and Mother) original passports

Both Parents’ passport photocopies

Parents’ Civil id photo copies

Original birth card provided by the Kuwait Ministry of Health.

Birthcard’s photocopy

Child’s original birth card must be attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kuwait.

It is necessary that the name of the husband must be authorized in the passport of the wife prior to the registration of the child’s birth. For adding up of the name of the spouse in the wife’s passport, the child’s mother must arrive in person at the embassy along with the properly filled 2A application form.

If any of the child’s parents happens to be a citizen other than India (Non-Indian) then a No- Objection certificate is needed from their relevant Embassy.

The applicant needs to be present in person

The candidate should offer Civil ID ,passport, or any other relevant original documents for authentication.

All the documents’ copies must be self attested (which signifies it must bear the date & your signature)

Further documents might be required for authentication based on the furnished and it is at the sole discretion of the Consulate.
