The tasty coconut rice recipe

This is a popular and delicious south Indian recipe. It is easy to make and can be carried as picnic dish, when you go with your family for picnics.

The ingredients required to prepare the recipe are

Biriyani rice 400 Gms in quantity

Coconut 120 Gms in quantity

Ghee of 40ml in quantity

Black gram dhal 25 Gms in quantity

Nuts broken into piece of 25 Gms in quantity.

Curry leaves (2 Gms)

Chopped coriander leaves (20gms)

Dry chilies (6gms)

Asafetida powder (2.5gms)

Salt for taste

Preparation Method

First boil the rice and place it aside.

Then on a slow fire, the coconut must be roasted evenly until it turns golden brown in color.

The ghee of 3 dessertspoons in quantity should be heated, and then the cashew nuts should also be fired.

Then you need to cook the broken down pieces of dry chilly, curry leaves and the black gram dhal.

Then blend the coconut, rice, also include nuts, ghee of one tsp quantity and salt to the mixture and blend it well.

The coriander leave can used to garnish the coconut rice. The rice is now ready to be served.
