The scrumptious Chinese pepper steak recipe

If you are an avid Chinese food buff, then the scrumptious Chinese pepper steak recipe is your favorite pick. The recipe is yummy and an easy to prepare one.

The required ingredients

One sliced flank steak of one pound in quantity.

Marinade

Soya sauce of ¼ cup in quantity

Rice wine of dry Sherry in 2 tsp quantity.

Sugar of 1 tsp quantity

Quarter cup of water

2 tsp of cornstarch

2 tsp of vegetable oil

Vegetables

Grated or chopped Ginger root of 2tsp quantity

2 chopped scallions

2 tsp of vegetable oil for cooking purpose.

One big sliced Onion

Two sliced green bell peppers

Four chopped garlic cloves

1 8 oz of fresh wedged mushrooms or drained cut mushrooms,

Preparation Method

For duration of 20 to 30 minutes, preserve the sliced steak.

Include some oil to the pan, and then include ginger, garlic, and scallions. For duration of 30 minutes, mix and fry it.

Then with a slotted spoon, include half portion of the steak, and for 3 minutes fry it. From the pan remove the steak, and place it side. Repeat the same procedure for the remaining steak.

Include oil and in it, fry the onions, mushrooms, and pepper, for a period of two minutes.

To the sides of the pan, the vegetables should be pushed, into the center pour the marinade, mix, fry till it gets bubbly, and solidified.

Mix in the vegetables, include the steak and thoroughly warm it. The recipe can be served with white rice.
