Sachin Tendulkar, the master blaster has finally created a rare record, which no other cricketer has accomplished before.

The historical voyage to his 100th ton took a longer than anticipated as Sachin finally took the monkey off his back before it turns into a ghost.

The little master got relived from his burden in the Asia cup at the Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium for unquestionably the most expected cricket landmark ever.

Tendulkar struck his forty-ninth century and the first one, against the Bangladesh team by cutting single to square leg with the ball delivered from off spinner Shakib Al Hassan and did not rejoice much, in spite of the rising expectation pressure from his numerous fellow citizens.

Subsequent to the innings, Sachin said to Neocheannel that at this stage, he cannot imagine of anything, as it has been a rough phase in his life. The little master further added that he commenced the season well, however was unfortunate, and it does not matter him how many tones he scores, but still has to move and grind out.

Tendulkar scored 111, his last century against the springboks (South Africa) during the last year world cup at Nagpur.

Last year, Tendulkar was out twice in the 90s in the test match against England and Westindies held at the Oval and Wankahade stadium respectively. His wicket was taken at 91 and 94run correspondingly in these tests.

Sachin has set a yardstick that seems to be surpassed by any of the current cricketers. His nearest rival is Rickyponting, who has scored 68 international centuries, and he is approaching his career’s twilight at the age of 37.

The late legend Don Bradman, who retired from cricket in 1948 scoring at an average of 99.94 runs, praised Tendulkar saying that the little master reminds him of his own batting style.
