Kolkata Knight Rider wins IPL 2012 title

The Kolkata knight riders (KKR) are the new champs of IPL 2012. KKR snatched an impressive victory over the Chennai Super Kings in a vivacious IPL 5 final. A compelete lot of fresh heroes made this victory feasible –the shrewd Manvinder Singh Bisla, Shakib Al Hasan, the sensational Jacques Kallis, the Kolkata boy Manoj Tiwary .


Everyone played and gave the best, as actor SRK’s Knight Rider scored an incredible win over CSK with 3 balls to spare.
Until the previous day, even Bisla was not aware whether he will be playing, however KKR took a large stake in front Brendon McCullam and the Batsman form Haryana was a complete revelation.


A 191run chase was thought out of reach, while playing at the M. A. Chidambaram stadium against the CSK, and when the KKR captain, Gautam Gambir was dismissed in the 1st over, it appeared that the Chennai team was heading for a hat trick third win.


But when Bisla came into the arena, he started hitting the ball that came into the view.With the pitch ideal for batting, Bisla on the rampage hitting hit ball to the boundary line. Jacques Kallis at the other end, provided good support.


CSK stayed in advance with KKR requiring 16 balls from 11balls, but the night was predestined to be Kolkata’s Knight, KKR. Shakib endure a close call, when umpire Billy Bowden declared a no ball for a delivery that was waist high from Ben HIlfenhaus. In the next ball Shakib hit a boundary and the score got down to nine in the last over.


Bravo exhibited an image of self-confidence and Tiwary also exhibited the same self-assurance. With two superb boundaries, the Kolkata Knights were on pinnacle of the world.


Previously the Chennai super kings also batted brilliantly. The team witnessed a good stable start with sensible bating from the both the Openers-Vijay and Hussey.


Vijay made a brilliant 42 from 32 balls. The Chennai lad was again on his magical feat which he exhibited against the Delhi daredevils, the previous match. He was ruthless, on Bret Lee, as he sent the lanky Australian’s delivery to the boundary line. Hussey on his part bombarded the KKR bowlers with his magic bat.


Vijay’s wicket was taken at Deep Square with a superbr catch by Shakib Al Hasan. Next Riana came and the left hander rained sixes and fours. He made a rapid 71 from just 36balls.
