James Bond island, Phuket

Phuket previously known as Thalang is one of Thailand’s southern regions. It is an island with not land borders. The island is roughly Singapore’s size and is the biggest island in Thailand. The island is popular tourist destination among tourists coming to Thailand. It also a much sought after shooting spot among the film people.

James Bond Island:

This island is a prominent sight in Phang Nga Bay. The island instantly shot into limelight, after it found a place in the famous James bond thriller “The Man with the golden gun”. A peculiar feature, you can find in this island are the several limestone cliffs projecting out of the emerald green tinted water.


Since the island comes under the preservation of the park protection, and due to uncertain position of the limestone cliffs, which are big at the peak and moderately thin at the bottom, no boats are allowed to go close to the cliffs. One of the best methods, you can admire the James Island are from the tiny beach at Koh Ping Ghan or from any boats.
