Fletcher backs BCCI on its rejection on the system of decision review
[image1_left}Coach Duncan Fletcher fully backs the BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) on its refusal to the system of decision review technology on the ongoing Australian tour.
Previously Fletcher has voiced his support in the book “Behind the shades”, written by him over the introduction of this new technology in Cricket. The BCCI instead of supporting, had opposed the decision review system in this current series
Without answer for his team surrendering on the first day of the second test, Fletcher was hesitant to talk and instead played with a straight bat on the hypocrisy claims.
The coach said that it is very vital at this juncture that he has to go behind the BCCI, and at this phase, one can see under specific condition, these measures set in place appear uncertain. Fletcher said that he fully supports the BCCI in their policy at this phase.
The just conluded Melbourne test, was tarnished with the incorrect decision of the umpires.
