Yummy Chicken Mushroom rice

The delicious Chicken Mushroom rice is another popular dish widely liked, by people belonging to all age groups.


Required Ingredients

Vanaspathi (Vegetable oil) of 2 table spoon quantity

Long grain white chawal (rice) of ¼ cup quantity

Two finely, sliced Lasun (Garlic Cloves)

One tiny, finely sliced Onion (Pyaj)

Finely sliced Chicken breast meat of 225gms qty

Two seeded and sliced into silvers Lal Mirchi (Red Chili)

8 Goochi (Chinese Black Mushrooms), dried and immersed for thirty minutes, chopped and drained.

85gms qty of Bamboo shoots cut or sliced into matchstick strips.

Fish Sauce of One tablespoon qty.

Dried shrimp of 2 tablespoon quantity

Thai Holy Basil Sprig for garnishing

25 Tulsi (Thai Holy Basil leaves)

Namak (Salt) in required qty.

Preparation Method

Cook the rice

In a pan heat the oil

Mix garlic and onion

Cook till it gets golden in color

Occasionally stir it.

Mix the chicken and the chilies

Fry stirring for a duration of two minutes

Blend in the mushrooms, bamboo shoots, fish sauce, dried shrimps, and salt.

Continuously stir for duration of two minutes.

Mix the basil and rice

Stir thoroughly

With basil sprig garnish it.

Serve hot.
