The Indian Butter Chicken Butter Recipe

The Indian Butter Chicken recipe is another popular delicious dish that tickles your taste buds.

Ingredients needed:

1/4 pint or 150ml of natural yogurt
2 ounces or 50g of ground almonds
1/4 tablespoon of ground cloves
1 table spoon of garam masala
1 1/2 tsp chili powder
One table spoon of ginger pulp
1 tsp of garlic pulp
1/4 tsp crushed bay leaves
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1 1/4 tablespoon of salt
14 ounce/400g can tomatoes
4 green cardamom pods
3 ounces/75g butter
2 pounds/1kg chicken, skinned, boned and cubed
2 medium onions, sliced
1 table spoon of corn oil
4 tablespoon of cream
2 tablespoon of fresh coriander, chopped

Preparation Method

In a mixing bowl put the ground almonds, yogurt, all the dry spices, garlic, ginger, tomatoes, and salt thoroughly mix together.

In a large mixing bowl keep the chicken and pour the yogurt mixture over it and keep it aside.

In a frying pan or kadai, together melt the butter and oil. .Now put the sliced onion pieces and for three minutes fry the onion you can add the chicken pieces to it. For 3 to 10 minutes stir fry it.

Put some coriander over the chicken mixture and stir it well. Now pour the yogurt cream over the chicken and stir it well.

With the remaining coriander leave garnish the chicken curry.
