The Chicken Rasam

The Chicken rasam with minced chicken pieces is another delicious dish and is of great medicinal value. It is good for health and easy too digest. The rasam can be also be consumed likes a soup.
Ingredients
One cup of minced chicken pieces.
1 No. of chopped tomato
6 Nos. of garlic cloves.
6 pieces of chopped small onions
1 tablespoon of cumin seeds
1 sprig curry leaves
A few coriander leaves
Quarter tsp of turmeric powder
1 tablespoon of fennel seeds.
One lemon
3 cups of water
One tsp of Ghee
Two tsp of Oil
Salt to taste
Two tsp of ground masala. (The ground masala is prepared by roasting 2 tsp of Fennels seeds, 1 tsp of cumin seeds, 2 numbers of Red chilies 12 Nos.of pepper corns, with one tsp of oil. The mixture masala is finely powdered).

Preparation
The Kadai should be heated for a few seconds. Then oil should be poured into the kadai and some ghee should be added into it. Add cumin and fennel seeds into it. Later add the chopped pieces of tomatoes, small onions and turmeric powder into the kadai.
The tomatoes should be fried well. Then add the garlic flakes and the minced chicken. For two minutes deep-fry it. Pour water into it. Then add the ground masala powder and the required amount of salt.
Allow the chicken rasam to simmer for 5 to 10 minutes.
Then add the coriander and curry leaves into it.
Then turn off the flame. Squeeze the lemon over the rasam and blend it well.
The rasam can be served hot with rice and Drumstick dhal or it can be consumed as a soup.
