Tamil Nadu Cultural Society of Canada (TNCSC)

A non-profit Ontario corporation that provides service for the Tamils in Canada is the Tamil Nadu Cultural Society of Canada (TNCSC). It was formed on an informal basis as an organization of likeminded people on May 1997. The association was registered in the year 1998, as a non-profit organization in the Ontario province to link the Tamil Diasporas in Canada. The objective of the association is to serve up the Tamil people belonging to the Indian origin in the country of Canada.

It also maintains and encourages the Tamil heritage in Canada by rejoicing festivals like Pongal merged with Christmas and the English New-year, Tamil New year, and Deepavali merged with Id Mubarak. This will assist the people from Tamilnadu to consider Canada as a domicile away from their home. The association also assists the Tamil kids of the Indo- Canadian Tamils, to comprehend the affluent culture and heritage.


The association alos helps the new immigrants to settle in Canada very easily, by offering the required information, pertaining to the Canadian society, job search, settlement, and support of community through networking.

On the whole, TNCSC is the biggest Indian organization in Canada, for the TamilNadu people.
