The Prado Museum

The Prado Museum is considered as one of the greatest museum in the European Union. The museum is situated in a well-known beautiful area of Madrid, Paseo del Prado. It houses the works of the world renowned artists like El Greco, Goya, Hieronymous Bosch and Velázquez. A single day is not sufficient for you to see the museum at a stretch. It will take an additional day to accomplish your sightseeing task. You can visit the museum with no admission fees.

Retiro Park

This is an Oldest and famous parks in Madrid. This was initially built for the king of Spain, Philip IV and it was opened for the public during the 18th century. A lake is present in the central portion of the park, where the visitor can go for boating, or just idly sit on the steps and listen to the music performed by the street performers. The Crystal palace constructed full of glass is another prominent tourist spot at the Retiro.

Some of the other well known tourist spots in Madrid are the Reina Sofia Museum, Royal palace, Thyssen Museum, etc.
