Lewa Downs

Lewa Downs officially known as the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy is situated in the northern part of Kenya. It is a wild life reserve, integrating the forest of Ngare Ndare and encompassing an area of more than 250 square km (62,000 acres).

The Lewa Downs is residence to a diverse species of animals, which includes the endangered and the rare animals. Some of the dwellers you can spot are the black rhino, sitatunga and Grevy’s zebra. The reserve is also abode for the big five (leopard, lion, rhino elephant and African buffalo). You can admire these animals amid the rolling hills covered with lofty grass.
