Wadi Hanifah

Wadi Hanifa is a valley (wadi) situated in central Saudi Arabia’s Nejd region. The valley extends to a length of about 75 miles (120km) from northern to southern direction travelling through Riyadh, the capital city of Saudi Arabia. The valley derives its name from Banu Hanifa, an ancient Arab tribe, the major tribe in that region during Islam’s dawn. A sequence of villages & towns are located alongside the valley as well as the towns of , Jubaila, Uyaynah, , Diriyah, Ha'ir and Irqah.

It is worth visiting this renowned tourist destination. You can admire the lush green countryside, beautiful landscapes and the exceptional reservoir . The dam serves as an awesome picnic spot to spend quality time. You can admire water body, the caressing breeze, encompassing nature and silence. Some of the activities you can indulge is taking a stroll alongside the river bank, watching the sunrise and sunset, etc you can relax at the plant huts enjoying the scenaries. It is advisable to take your food and water as there are no amenities available.
