United States lengthened exemptions, to 7more countries from its rigid, fresh sanctions on oil trade of Iran, thereby leaving China to be the final main importer exposed to probable fines at this month’s end.

Hillary Clinton, the US Secretary of State said in the most recent indication, Washington is functioning with other nations to stress on the nuclear program of Iran, S.Korea, India, Turkey and 4 more countries will get waivers from economic authorizations in return for considerably reducing buying of Iranian oil.

Countries like China and Singapore did not get any waiver, mounting up pressure on 2 significant trade partners of US in Asia. China is a major importer of Iranian oil and it purchases a fifth of the crude exports of Iran, while in Singapore, most of Iran’s oil are mixed.

United states may start imposing sanctions commencing from June 28. It is part of the determined measures to strangulate the nuclear program of Iran by slashing subsidies from its sales on oil exports.

Both the European Union and the US thinks that Iran is endeavoring to construct nuclear weapons. Tehran says its nuclear program is strictly meant for civilian reasons.

Apart from the 27 nation EU, which has prohibited from July, the Iranian imports under detach sanctions, other Iran’s crude oil purchasers have promised to curtail buy up to a 5th .

Ms.Clinton in a release said that by minimizing the oil sales from Iran they are conveying the important message to the leaders of Iran, till they take tangible efforts to convince the fears of the global community, they will go on facing the mounting pressure and separation.

The US Secretary of state is conducting a top-level earlier planned talk with the ministers from S.Korea and India. Both India and S.Korea are considered to be the 2nd and 4th biggest buyer of Iran oil.

Clinton said that Taiwan, South Africa, Sri Lanka and Malaysia are the other nations to be exempted from Sanctions. In March, Japan along with other ten EU countries were awarded exemption.

Even though China did not get any waiver, it does not essentially pursue that the US from June 28, will implement sanction on the nation. An US official said they are collecting proof to support the disciplinary actions against the banks, which has prepared oil dealings.

It is not known immediately as to why the US adminstration did not give exemption for China. The supporters of rigid sanction on Iran believe that China has obtained secret oil cargoes from Iran, which has immobilized monitoring equipments on a few of its shipments.
