The Canberra center

Canberra center is a well-known shopping center that is situated in the in the capital city of Australia, Canberra. It is located in the Bunda Street of Canberrra. It was inagurated in the year 1963 and its former name was Monaro mall. In the year 1989, the mall was redeveloped with a budget of $220 million and renamed as the Canberra center.

At present the mall has more than 310 specialty retailers, a number of big retailers and several food outlets.

Target, another well-known Australian departmental stores chain operated by the Wesfaramers (previously by the Coles group).

Big W, a big chain of discount departmental stores, which is a division of Woolworths Ltd.

Myer, a departmental store chain which sells a wide range of merchandise items that covers women's, footwear and accessories; electrical; men's and children's clothing, furniture and bedding; food and confectionery; cosmetics and fragrance; home wares; toys; books and stationery; and travel goods.

JB Hi-Fi, an Australian electronic chain stores, that deals with consumer electronic items like DVD, CD, video game, blue ray disc, etc.

The Canberra center also has Dendy cinema that has 9 theaters and 2 finest lounges.
