The Assamese community is an Indian association formed for the welfare of the Assamese residing in London and other area of the United Kingdom. It brings all Assamese residing in the UK, under one umbrella and indulge in organizing cultural and social activities. They regularly conduct the Assamese day.

The small community conducts the Assamese day on 27th and 28 th of Augustt at the Brooklyn hotel in Barnsley Yorkshire, England.

The United Assam Association of UK is the driving force in bringing the fun-loving and like minded people. The main objective of the association is to keep up the Assamese traditions of language and culture, in spite of being thousands of miles away from their native home.
