The central hall of the Doha trade fair was crowded with shopper lovers, visitors and collectors of souvenirs, hunting for extraordinary treasures, at the inauguration day of Doha trade fair’s inauguration. The trade fair is regarded as the major festival of the year in Qatar.

More than 9000 guests were very much keen to browse on the newest products kept on display by more the 570 global exhibitors.

The trade fair opened with a grand gala, with the cheerful parade done by the musicians, entertainers and the fair’s official mascot.

The guests were awestruck by the broad range of choices the trade offered, right from the popular selling products, conventional items to antiques, electronic widgets and the newly launched products.

The 2012 Doha fair will be opened up to tenth of January. The fair will be opened everyday from 11:00 to 22:00 and on Fridays from 14:00 up to 22:00. The entry is free, no admission fees.

Every at 2 pm, the parade starts. The Qatar Tourism authority organizes the fair.
