The consulate General of Netherlands has setup an application center in Chennai. The new facility will be used to gather applications and delivery of visas. VFS Global has initiated the new Visa application center, which will function at JVAC (Joint Visa Application Centre). The new facility will receive the application for Schengen visas on short stays to Netherlands from candidates’ belonging to Chennai and adjoining areas. Even though only the Consulate General of The Netherlands in Mumbai will carry on with the assessing procedure for visa applications.

The new facility in Chennai will function from 8:00 am up to 3:00 pm, and has a committed website for effortless admission, and particulars pertaining to types of visa, committed call center, expert and quick to respond staff, and doorstep delivery service of passports. The ambassador of Netherlands, Bob Hienschs aid that they are pleased to expand the collaboration with the VFS Global for Chennai center. He further said that just like Chennai, they are looking further to extend the service in future to other cities in India.
