As a way of celebrating the Tamizhar Tirunall, Pongal, Bharathi for Friendship, a forum of like minded friends of Abu Dhabi organised a Grand Light Music show, jointly with India Social Centre, Abu Dhabi for the first time, on Friday Jan 13 2011 It was titled `Autograph' -- a Music Journey of Tamil Films, and conducted by the well known Music Director, Kalaimamani Mr. Bharadhwaj, in the Majestic Auditorium of India Social Centre Abu Dhabi.

The Chief Guest on the occasion was His Excellency M.K. Lokesh, Ambassador of India to the UAE. The President, India Social Centre Abu Dhabi and many prominent businessmen and professionals were also present, including the business magnate and the Chief of ETA Ascon Al Haj Sayyed M. Salauddin. In the light music programme, well known singers Mukesh, Anandhu, Jaya Rajagopal and Mr. Bharadhwaj's daughter, Mrs. Janani Kartik and also the local talents. The programme, a rain of performance by the professional singers, was well received and thoroughly enjoyed by the thronging crowd of over 1,500 persons.

The programme was conducted in a grand manner with the able participation and in the presence of Mr. Ramesh Panickar, the President, India Social Centre, Mr. Abdul Salaam, General Secretary, India Social Centre, Mr. Ramakrishnan, President, Bharathi for Friendship and Mr. Haleel Rahman, General Secretary, Bharathi for Friendship.
