Stores in Britain attract the Chinese Shoppers.

Harrods, a familiar store in Britain recognize the well-known bank card from China. Chinese consumers always had a profound love for the luxury brands. In the year 1992, at Beijing Louis Vuitton initially set up its primary store. It has slowly expanded its business domain and is now at present has opened 40 outlets in China. In a few years it seems that Burberry will have 100 stores.


The biggest push to develop business in the Chinese market came in the form of a promotional tour, which was undertaken by the Visit Britain tourism organization. Representative belonging to the Westfield shopping centre of London, Selfridges, Gretna Green and Harrods formed part of the organization.


Last year nearly 110,000 Chinese visitor visited Britain. which saw a 23% yearly increase. Likewise the overll expenditure by the Chinese increased rapidly by 57%.
