Spanish dairy company Kaiku buys CLM-Vitalait

Kaiku, the Spanish dairy organization acquires CLM-Vitalait.

As per the Cinco Dias, the Spanish daily, the dairy giant, which has a chain of production centers in various countries like Argentina, France and Chile declared, it has acquired CLM-Vitalait based at Mahida. However the deal amount was not revealed.

Cinco Dias said, for the past five years, the two organizations have been working together on the Yoghurt manufactured goods.


The Spanish daily said CLM-Vitalait is the second biggest Tunisian dairy company, with a turnover exceeding US$91.4m (EUR70m). The company has 480 employees and a 110m liters yearly processing capability.


The sources at the Kaiku said to the Cinco Dias that Vitalait possesses great growth potential in the Tunisian dairy markets.


The kaiku officials could not be contacted for immediate comment.
