Royal Saudi Air Force Museum also called as Saqr Al-Jazira Museum is a renowned tourist spot in Riyadh. It is situated on Riyadh’s East ring road flanked by exit 10 & 11. You can see a Saudia Lockheed L-1011 Tristar acting as a gateguard noticeable from the ring road.

The museum offer you the Royal Saudi Air Force’s history right from its inception during the 1920s to the present year.

Static Park Diplays

You can admire the following aircrafts kept on display in the Static park - BAC Strikemaster Mk80, Boeing 707 HZ-HM2 in Saudia livery, Cessna O-1, Boeing F-15D, Cessna 310, Douglas A-26B Invader, BAC Lightning T-55, Lockheed C-130 Hercules, Douglas DC-4, Lockheed T-33A, Lockheed L-1011 Tristar HZ-AHP in Saudia livery, T-6 Texan 206, Panavia Tornado ADV F3 & IDS, etc.

The exhibit halls contains the display of the Royal Souther Airforce , uniforms, aircraft engine & weaponry, decorations & insignia, and extraordinary exhibits about Prince Sultan bin Salman Al Saud. He is the first member belonging to the royal family and also the 1st Arab as well as the 1st Muslim to become an astronaut and fly to the outerspace. Some of the aircrafts which you can see and be aware of are BAC Lightning F53, Douglas DC-3 , Bell OH-58, Bell UH-1, De Havilland Vampire FB Mk 52, De Havilland Chipmunk Mk 10North American F-86 Sabre F model, North American F-86 Sabre F model, Northrop F-5E Tiger II, Hawker Hunter F Mk60, Temco T-35 Buckaroo A model, T-6 Texan, etc.

Admission fees

For adults the admission fee is SR 10 while for the little ones it is SR 5.
