The universities in Britain had witnessed a drop of more than thirty percent in the Indian registration and the grant of visa for Australia is stated to be in three figures.

The figures of the Indian student visa application of Australia have increased by an enormous 120% in the past 9months, whilst the visa grants’ number has also enhanced by approximately eighty percent in the similar period.

The president of Universities UK, (the representative organization for Britain's universities), Mr.Erci Thomas has written to the British PM, Mr. David Cameroon cautioning that the changes in immigration might cost the nation to the extent of 5 billion pounds ($8 billion) as tuition fees alone.

The latest crackdown on Immigration is stated to have made the Indian student to turn away from the British Universities.

Alongside Australia, the European and Canadian universities, and vocational training institutions are gaining benefits from global students, who are searching for global choices other than UK.

In a similar situation, sometimes back, the Indian Students eschewed the providers of Australian education following the tightening of rules on immigration.

The huge turn down of students from India, which has been the No.2 source of global students for Australia, made its Government ordering an assessment of the student visa and enrolment procedure.

The Indian students appeared to have responded pessimistically to the refusal of work rights in UK as the figure of British student visas applcaitons from India and other nation of South Asia is on a quick decline.
