Panasonic speaks out on new android Smartphone for 2012 March

Five years ago, Panasonic, made a humble retreat from the European market, now the Japanese mobile giant is all set make a valiant comeback. It declared it will stage a comeback with its innovative range of smart phones powered by Android. The first handset is to be released this month March 2012.


The device comes with an OLED display of 4.3 inch thickness and has a resolution of 960 x 540 qHD. The new Smartphone is completely dust and water proof. The handset has an “ultra-slim D-shaped design “and provide “trouble-free portability”.


The new device has innovative NFC potentials and it is shipped with the aid of Google wallet and other identical wireless services.


The Smartphone is all set to first set its foot in Europe and then to be introduced into countries like China, US and other Asian nations. Panasonic has pinned a lot of hopes on its new product. It has decided to sell this model as a “reference model’ for its future lineup. By the end of the current financial year, the company hopes to sell 1.5 million pieces.


By March 2016’s financial year end, Panasonic targets to shift a enormous fifteen million units, which include 6 million in the Japan and 9 millions in Asia, Europe, US and China.
