Kuwait Tamil Islamic Committee (K-Tic) executives met His Excellency

Kuwait Tamil Islamic Committee - “K-Tic” is a non-profit Socio-Welfare Islamic Organization, established in February 2006, registered with Embassy of India, Kuwait and also registered with Ministry of Awqaf & Islamic Affairs under the Administration of Grand Mosque and Administration of Mosque Dept. of Ministry of Awqaf of Kuwait, serving the whole Tamil community, irrespective of nation, who speaks & understand Tamil language.

K-Tic has a impressive name among the socio-welfare organizations in Kuwait and Gulf countries whose benevolent works and enlightening activities and conserving Islamic uniqueness and also well known with the thousands of Indians especially all Tamil speaking people in Kuwait.

The Executive Committee members of Kuwait Tamil Islamic Committee (K-Tic) with an appointment with His Excellency Mr. Satish C. Mehta, Ambassador of India to Kuwait, on January 22, 2012 at the Indian Embassy.

Al-Haaj A.K.S. Abdul Nazar, Deputy General Secretary, introduced the office bearers to His Excellency and briefly sketched out K-Tic’s activities during last six years of its establishment. The General Secretary, Moulavee Afzalul Ulamaa A.B. Khaleel Ahmed Baaqavee M.A., outlined the activities and plans that shall be carried out in the stepping seventh year and the Treasurer, Al-Haaj M. Zahir Hussain answered H.E. on the number of Members and well-wishers of K-Tic.

The President, Moulavee M. Mohammed Meera Sha Fazil Baaqavee on behalf of K-Tic and its members invited H.E. to attend the Grand Seerathun Nabi (sal.) programs, which is being arranged in 1st week of Feb.2012. He also explained on educational activities, various programs organized by K-Tic for the community benefit, in various locations in Kuwait.

The whole team, on behalf of the members of K-Tic and Tamil community greeted and appreciated His Excellency. They also express their thanks to embassy staff for kind co-operation.
