Kozhikode District Association: Financial Assistance disbursed to families of deceased members

Kozhikode District Association, Kuwait disbursed financial assistance to the families of late Sadananandan K. and Abbobacker Koya who died in Kuwait while they were members of the Association, in a function held on 3rd February 2012 at United Indian School, Abbasiya. Mr. T.A.Ramesh, Gulf Mart Country Head disbursed funds to the family of Sadanandan while Mr. Pancily Varkey, Country Head of U.A.E. Exchange Company disbursed funds to the family of Aboobacker Koya. Financial assistance under the “Karunyam” scheme for treatment of a member’s spouse was also given on the occasion by Mr. Ashraf Aydeed, Patron of the Association.

Under the Family Benefit Scheme the family of a deceased member is eligible for financial assistance of Rupees 2 lakh as per the terms of the Scheme. “Karunyam” scheme aims at providing assistance for treatment of severe ailments of family members and other Kozhikode natives.

Association President Mr. E. Rajagopalan presided over the function. Mr. Rishi Jacob, General Secretary welcomed the gathering. Mr. Malayil Moosakoya, former Chief Patron, Mr. Shabeer Mandoly, Patron, Mr. Hameed Keloth former Patron and Central Executive Committee member spoke on the occasion. Mr.Jayaprakash. P, Joint Treasurer explained the “Karunyam” scheme while Mr. Saveesh K, Welfare Secretary gave the details of Family Benefit Scheme. Mr. Santhakumar M., Treasurer expressed vote of thanks.
