IGNOU introduces water conservation courses
New Delhi: IGNOU, Indira Gandhi National Open University has commenced it process of admission on 2 special water harvesting courses.
Admissions for the 2012 July session have started, for certified course on water harvesting & Management, and Diploma in watershed management.
A statement says that these courses are intended for students, who have interest in fundamental information and ability for water harvesting, preservation, and consumption.
The statement further said that it covers agricultural fundamental features such as erosion of soil and its supervision, incorporated farming schemes such as crop husbandry, fish farming and agro forestry.
The diploma course can be finished in a minimum of 1 year and up to a maximum of 4 years, whilst the certified course is for a minimum of 6 months and a maximum of 4 years.
