The Vietnam Airlines has launched its non-stop latest flight service to Ho Minch city (previously known as Saigon) and Hanoi from Gatwick, thereby offering the British tourists for the first time a direct route to Vietnam. Previously the well-known Asia-pacific tourist spot can be reached only through Bangkok or Hongkong.

The Gatwick airport’s chief executive Stewart Wingate said with the launch of the direct flight to Vietnam from the United Kingdom, the British travelers can have an easy and quick trip to the two most well-known cities (Hanoi & Ho Minch city) of Vietnam.

The chief executive further added that, due to the ownership change, they found it extremely difficult to woe airline to launch their operations in the South East Asian routes and offer the travelers a broad range of places to discover. The demand to travel to Vietnam was always increasing; keeping this in mind the Vietnam Airlines has launched its operation between the Vietnam and UK through Gatwick.

The launch of their air route facilitates the UK traveler to reach Vietnam in quick time, with journey hours minimized to a great extent by 12 hours.

Twice weekly flight service will operated by the Vietnam Airlines one each to Ho Minch city and Hanoi.
