Abu Dhabi sees its revenue getting boosted up in food and beverages

For the past few months Abu Dhabi witnessed it hotel revenues getting augmented in food and beverages. It seems the emirate is emerging as a perfect dining destination for the tourists.

As per the information released by the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority (ADTA), the profits on hotel restaurants got increased by 5 percent, when compared to the previous year. Likewise the profit from the hotel rooms got boosted by one percent .

The manager of a leading hotel in Abu Dhabi said the opening of a number of new hotels in Abu Dhabi makes it a gourmet place for the tourists. He said the food and beverage has grown in volumes in Abudhabi.

The statistics revealed that previous month; the fares for the rooms came down by eleven percent. This shows that the sales on food and beverages are responsible for the flow of cash in Abu Dhabi hotels.

The ADTA said the food and beverages play an active role in boosting up the revenue. They constitute 37 percent of the total revenue, which is a nine percent increase when compared to last year.

Most the inhabitant of UAE spends the afternoon and evening time in hotels.
