reentering to GCC Countries
Hi,
My name is vivek I did my education in KSA (Saudi Arabia) as my father works at Jeddah as I competed my education I came back to Chennai and did my Graduation and Post graduation here. I regularly once in an year come to Jeddah and renew my visa and get back to India. But I was unable to get back to the county last November for my reentry and my visa validity got expired.
Now could you pls let me know if i could get a new visa to any of the GCC as i was holding a depended visa under my father and it was not a work visa. Are there any restriction to get back to KSA or any other GCC after an year or so. It would be really great if you could pass on this information.

RE: reentering to GCC Countries
Hi vivek , based upon your query , i would like to inform you that , you can still enter the kingdom on your father's visa, as you have mentioned your exit-reentry visa has expired in last November , hence i hope you still have a few days remaining to request an extension on the same visa prior to it that your father's iqama must be valid till date & not renewed, hence your father prepares a extension letter on his sponsor's letter head , mentioning the reason of delay ( medical purposes, examinations etc) the document has to be attested by the chamber of commerce , ministry of foreign affairs, and then you receive the document , attach it with the passport and submit it in the saudi embassy in your home country/state , remember that once a dependent exit-reentry expires & the guardian's iqama is still valid , the kingdom grants a period of 3 months as extension request period, so the action must be taken within 3 months after the expiration of the exit-reentry visa ! apart from this there wont be any restrictions for you if you either choose to to re-enter the kingdom or any other GCC country on a permanent job visa !

Hi JazakAllaaHKhair,

Thank you for this valued information of yours, But  I still carry a small doubt according to the new rules in Saudi Arabia and other GCC nations I have given my thump impression and other formalities for my reentry last time I came to Jeddah. Is there going to be a problem due to this the next time i come to KSA or any other GCC nation say with a new job visa or sponsored visa ? As I have heard there is a 5 years ban for any one who has not done an exit policy in its rite way. Is that true?

RE: reentering to GCC Countries
Hello Vivek , As i had mentioned earlier , if you left the kingdom on a student visa then the new law does not implement on your case as you were a dependent and not a employee, secondly put it in mind that other GCC countries have nothing to do with Saudi Arabian rules , as the joint rule has not yet been signed in between the GCC countries, hence if anyone leaves the kingdom on a exit-reentry visa can happily work or travel to rest of the GCC countries regardless of the thumb impression !hope that solves your question & btw brother My name is Baba Khan & not JAZAKALLAH KHAIR

WaAlaikom As Salaam , Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon All,

If you plan to travel on a exit-reentry visa, it wont be possible for you to endorse a new saudi visa on your passport for another 2 years, i have replied to your post , you may follow this link for further information
