ESB (End of Service Benifit)
Dear All,

I am working in private company and our company paid two full salary each 2 years as bonus with 2 months vacation. My question is this 2 month vacation should be paid vacation and so we must get 2 salary plus two month vacation. But our company called its BONUS and they take signature on different papers and I listen the company rule is they are paying this 2 months salary which they called bonus is included ESB. And I never see that our company paid ESB to any of our employee who had already went on FINAL EXIT. I always used to ask our HR Dept and other seniors about ESB but they said "yes,,,ESB is there but our company not paid this". Because its included in our two years vacation bonus. Its really puzzled. I don't understand how is this. we could go to labor court but i fear there are many papers (in arabic) which we signed and I am fear it is mention that we are paying ESB to our employees when they are going on vacation. Can anybody suggest about this.

Thanks

Imran

you should not have signed on those papers. if they give u all papers in arabic u should have asked for translation and when u sign on something why dint u take a copy of it for ur reference please be careful when ever u are signing on any paper, people are not as good as they should be

be careful in the begning so that u dont need to ask for please

There are many companies who calculate yearly package in a whole and divide it per month ... this packages normally include everything like salary, housing, food, transportation, vacation allowance, ticket, medical insurance... etc. etc. Most of these companies make it clear to their employees also from the start of employment, and most of them will either put it in the employment contract or will take another letter from the employees that the employee is aware of what he is getting at the end of each month.
In your case if you are not sure of the papers that you signed, you can go to the labor court and file a complaint to get your ESB. They will take the necessary steps.
