Confusion of the LAW
AM a House Driver on a WORK Permit of 90 days. The lady, I am working with is not my original SPONSORER. After complition of my 2 months job, have decided to go back to India because of  un-human nature of the lady, But she tells me that, If I want to close the VISA, I have to pay her 5,000 Riyals as compansation, otherwise I can't go back. I have heard that, if someone wants to go back to his country within 90 days permit, one hasn't to pay any money by the law. Now I am confused about  which law is correct? Can anyone guide me?

RE: Confusion of the LAW
Mr. Harsh,

Sorry to hear about your painful situation, but dear if she is not your sponsor than you can leave her accomodation and go to the Indian Embassy explaining them the same problem about yours... Because if you go back to find your original sponsor you may be in trouble. But before taking any steps confirm that she should not your sponsor and you shouldn't have signed any contracts earlier.

Wish you best of Luck

RE: Confusion of the LAW
Hello Harsh , Your case is just similar to 1000's of other expatriate brothers who arrive and face humiliations from their sponsors , but as you wrote " you are on a work permit for 90 days" does that mean you just arrived in the kingdom and your work permit (Iqama) has not yet been issued and you are working on a probation period (between the initial period of 90 days) ?the 3 months is actually the grace period given by the passports authorities to the sponsors. if that's the case and the lady is not your original sponsor , don't try to approach your real sponsor as they might be interlinked and try to seek help from the embassy at your town/city and give them a brief explanation of your matter, once you file your complaint to the embassy then you will be in the safe zone, regarding the demanded amount of SR:5000 , if you had signed a contract at your recruitment agency mentioning that you are entrusted to pay the amount in failure to the completion of your work contract period , then you will be entitled to pay the amount if you demand a final exit.
