changing of profession
Hi
if i change our profession and may be the new profession is not related to current sponser then
what could be the possibility
actually my profession is building electrician on my iqama and if i will change to computer engineer or computer programmer
help plz

Well, your question is not clear, but find the profession change procedures below:

Ministry of Labor Regulations to change the profession:

The Ministry has set out some regulations to control the profession change as follows:

1.    The employees must have certificate match with the profession ha want to change to.
2.    Certificate & the Profession must match with the company activities (business filed).
3.    Later Ministry of Labor will review all Professions have been changed.
4.    Providing of any incorrect information during process of Profession change will result in imposing penalties on company, including cease of the work renewing working license, stop visa issue for up to 5 years

yes, Ezzu is 100% correct. don't take easy with profession change.  first of all please check what profession your kafil has, then if you have any degree or diploma related to that profession you can change your profession. Otherwise you can't change your profession and it will be complicated whenever you caught by zawajat and not matching with your present status to your job you will be deported directly.  so, my advise is don't try the back door procedures.  now a days the labor law is very strict in Saudi.

Now they will change our profession without any requirement(cirtificate) ,leter they take out from country like dubai did before 10 years.BE CAREFUL.

without certificate you can't change your profession in legal way. and why you are afraid about to leave the country.   we came here for savings purpose only, Nobody can stay here after implmentation of taxes on NRIs which willbe due for legislation in April 2012.  can you stay here without any benefit.

chane the proffesion in other sponser would you like which profession ex engineer , doctor etc talk with sponser how much he will take money either montly wise or yearly wise etc

good morning. Regarding profession change, one big company in riyadh calling me in labor category and assure that change profession after reaching here. I communicate my friend he told me that he also came in same category and he also working in same company. Pls advice. Thanks

Dear Friends, Assalamu Alaikum,

As regarding the subject of changing profession is not difficult but there is some procedure, If u r an engineering by profession and holding Degree or Diploma that should be attested by the Saudi Embassy in Delhi and later on submit it here for Saudi Counsil of Engineers, after getting attestation from them, You can submit in Jawazat for your change of profession.
