Vidya Balan named as the "Best actress"

Actress Vidya Balan was adjudged as the best film actress for her phenomenal performance in the film “Dirty Picture”. Her awesome role as Silk Smith, the late South Indian film actress, fetched the national award in the best actress category.

Girish kulkarni bagged the best actor award for acting in Deool.

ShahrukhKhan’s “RA One” walked away with the honors in the special effects category.

The award for the best feature film is shared by the Marathi film “Deool” and the Kannada film “Byari”.

“Vaagai Sooda Vaa”was adjudged as the best Tamil film.

Actor Appukutty was named as the best supporting actor for acting in the film “Azhagar Samiyin Kudhirai”

Best Playback Singer( MALE) : Anand Bhate for “Bal Gandharva”

Best Playback Singer( FEMALE) : Rupa Ganguly

Best Editing: Praveen KL for Tamil film “Aaranya Kaandam”.

Best Background Score: Mayookh Bhaumik for the Bengali film “Laptop”.

Best Choreography:
Bosco & Ceaser for Zindagi Naa Milegi Doobara.

Best Costume : Niharika Khan (The Dirty Picture – Hindi) & Neeta Lulla (Bal Gandharva – Marathi).

Best Hindi Film : For “I AM “directed by Onir

Best Tamil Film : For Vaagai Sooda Va
