TMCA UMRAH PROGRAMME - 2012

Tamilnadu Muslim Cultural Association (TMCA), Kuwait, in association with Al-Ameen Umrah Services, Murgab conducted holy Umrah trip on a ten days trip starting on Wednesday, the 21st March, 2012 with a strength of 96 pilgrims in two Buses. A special send-off ceremony arranged at Murgab grounds where FIMA General Secretary Br. Mohamed Haneef was the Chief Guest besides various dignitaries and former Presidents of TMCA who spoke out with religious spirit and enthusiasm.

Various Establishments and individuals sponsored for a variety of things during this trip to our joy – AlMass Musthafa, former President and Member-Guardian Council provided Dinner to the pilgrims on the night of our travel from Kuwait followed by Breakfast-pack by Ayyampet-Chakkarapalli Muslim Jamaath (ACMJ) and Lunch and Dinner (Thursday) by Br. Shahinshah Khan, Secretary – Public Relations. A special MILTON Hot-Pack, two pieces, gifted by Ramzi Br. Shahjahan, Advisor-TMCA for TMCA use through which Food served to pilgrims hot and fresh and on our way back, Islamic Quiz competition prizes sponsored by Br. Ali Maideen, native of Koothanallur who performed Umrah last year with us and admired of our services and Dinner sponsored by Br. Sadik Batcha of M/s. Bader Al-Juma Stationery followed by Morning Tea/Samoosa (31st March) by Sister Parveen. And our special thanks to M/s. Al-Ameen Umrah Services who have arranged this trip specially for TMCA in a professional way. May Almighty ALLAH bestow HIS choices blessings on them..! Ameen..!!

We spent five days in holy Makkah Al-Mukarramah and three days in holy Madinah Al-Munawarah. Local visits (Ziyarath) arranged for the pilgrims in both holy places. Museum visit at Makkah specially arranged by TMCA highly remembered by our pilgrims. Bader (battle) visit is also a special highlight to our pilgrims and much appreciated. A special sport event (Ramel) arranged over there and cash prizes awarded to the winners sponsored by M/s. Al-Ameen Umrah Services.

TMCA Officials paid courtesy visit to Jeddah Tamil Sangam (JTS), on the sidelines of establishing and maintaining inter-action and better understanding and co-ordination between various Associations working for community welfare. Nachikulam ‘TVS’ Br. Alavudeen, Vice-President, head of TMCA team introduced himself and all our officials, Chattiramanai Br. Asan Mohamed, Dy.Gen.Secretary, Swamimalai Br. Jahir Hussain, former Treasurer, Peruvalanallur Br. Hidayathullah, Secretary – Education, Vittukatti Br. Masthan, Perambalur Br. Khalifullah, Well-Wisher and Sholapuram Br. Zahiruddin, Principal Co-ordinator and Member – TMCA Guardian Council. TMCA officials extended their invitation to JTS Officials to take part in our recently concluded TMCA’s Conference on Economic Self-Reliance who wished all success and unfortunately could not be able to join us due to their tight schedule but promised to visit Kuwait in the near future. TMCA officials honoured with a special Dinner at the end and meeting lasted for about three hours.

Islamic Quiz Questionaire distributed to all pilgrims after we left Saudi border giving pilgrims ample time to go through who interestingly took part trying to answer all questions asked and marks awarded accordingly. While on our way back to Kuwait, in the Bus, Quran Surah recitation / Dua recitation events conducted for kids and Islamic Quiz results announced and prizes distributed to the winners by TMCA representatives traveled in the Bus and to all children.

TMCA Executives and Co-ordination Council members, well-wishers received the pilgrims on Saturday, the 31st March and were served Tea and Samoosa. All pilgrims left for their home appreciating TMCA's dedicated, whole-hearted co-operation and conduct of affairs from the beginning to end. Most of the pilgrims willed to get actively enrolled as members of this Association while on their way back to Kuwait, boosting our morale. And much more from them than we anticipated attended recently concluded TMCA’s Conference on Economic Self-Reliance followed by Workshop next day and benefitted at large.
