Thrissur Association of Kuwait (TRASSK) Conducted its Annual General Body meeting at Salmiya Indian Community School, Aman branch on Friday 23rd March’12 evening 5:00pm . Annual General Body meeting elected its new Office Bearers for the year 2012-13. The meeting started with a silent prayer followed by a remembrance speech by Joint secretary Mr.Ashraf for the three members who passed away this year. TRASSK Joint treasurer Mr.Sreejith welcomed all members for the meeting .TRASSK President Sebastian Vathukadan during his presidential address congratulated members, central committee members and office bearers for their contribution towards the growth of TRASSK.

General Secretary Steephen Vadakethala presented the annual working report, Vanitha Vedi report was presented by Mrs. Shiny Frank and finance report was presented by Treasurer Manish Kumar. All report was well defined and got approval from all of its members. Members raised new suggestions & all their queries were replied by President Mr.Sebastian through an open discussion forum. The new scheme of Building houses for needy members was explained to the members by President.

A appreciative memento was awarded by Mr. Sebastian Vathukadan to Mr. Joy Joseph (Advisor & Former president of TRASSK) who leaves Kuwait after 8 year of his service.

TRASSK Abbassiya-B area Convener Mr. Ravi was awarded with a memento for his valuable effort for the maximum sales of coupons.

TRASSK President MR. Sebastian Vathukadan was recognized for his dedicated leadership throughout his Presidential tenure with a memento from Mr. Joy Joseph former president of TRASSK. The general body elected Ajith Menon (President), Biju Kadavi (General Secretary), Jeejo Sunny(Treasurer) Chandran P.S (Vice President) Babu Paryil, Sherin Mullakara, and Sudheer. (Joint Secretaries), and Sanoj Sahadevan (Joint Treasurer) as new office bearers for the year 2012-13. The general body also elected Kochurani Wilson (President), Priya Manikandan (Secretary) and Lissy Wilson (Treasurer) as new office bearers for Vanitha Vedi for 2012-13. K. R. Prasad, Rafi Padiyath, and Joseph Wadakkan were the returning officers.

Sports meet victors prize were distributed in the same venue after meeting. More than 500 members attended the meeting and around 10:30 PM meeting was concluded with the thanks giving speech from Joint secretary Mr.Baiju C.P.
