The Simpang Lima Tamil School

The only country that has a more number of Tamil schools is Malaysia. In the year 2000 nearly 89,175 students got enrolled in Tamil schools. Now the number has increased to a considerable extent. At present there are nearly 108,000 students studying in these schools. In a short span of one decade a record 21% enrollment was carried out in Tamil school.


A major Tamil school in Malaysia is the Simpang Tamil School at Klang. Ths School accommodates nearly 2407 students. The school is well equipped with all facilities. The school has trained teachers with good classrooms and laboratory. It is the first school to be visited by Malaysian Prime Minister. On May 29 the Malaysian Prime Minister. The function was organized by the Selangor Tamil School Headmasters council.
