'The Hangover II’ music to hit shelves May 23

Mumbai, April 15 (IANS) The original soundtrack of "Hangover II", the highest grossing comedy of 2009, will be in stores May 23 on Sony Music, just three days before the film hits the big screens.

International artists, including Kanye West and Black Eyed Peas have collaborated for the music to the film and it is believed that Mike Tyson, who featured in a cameo in the original, will also be a part of the music album, a press statement said.

The soundtrack to "The Hangover" sold over 200,000 albums worldwide and yet continues to feature in the iTunes chart.

The trade internationally anticipates that director Todd Phillips' film will open much stronger at the box-office than the first movie.

The subject of the "The Hangover II" is once again a bachelor's party where Phil (Bradley Cooper), Stu (Ed Helms), Alan (Zach Galifianakis) and Doug (Justin Bartha) travel to Thailand for Stu’s wedding. After the unforgettable bachelor party in Las Vegas, Stu is taking no chances and chose a safe, quiet pre-wedding brunch. But things do not always go as planned.
