Since its inception in the late eighties, Seattle Tamil Sangam has morphed and evolved over the years.2009 heralds the 20th anniversary of this illustrious organization and this is marked by a freshly minted Non-Profit Organization certification awardedby the State of Washington. In keeping with its core mission of proactively engaging Tamil diasporic interest, Seattle Tamil Sangam will continue to promote cultural programmes as well as support the efforts of other Tamil-interest organizations.
