Dubai’s PC Refurbishment center has donated nearly 2000 computers to the Education ministry to distribute the computers to the various schools located on UAE’s different emirates. The Director General of Dubai Municipality Eng.Husssein Nasser Lootah inaugurated the computer handing over ceremony held at the PC Refurbishment Centre in AL Qusais
So far nearly more than 90,000 pieces of computers and accessories have been collected and the Municipality gets immense response from bother inside and outside of Dubai. Mr.Loota said.
The PC Refurbishment centre is the primary accredited centre in the Middle East. It aims in preserving and developing the environmental surroundings in the emirate.
This effective measure comes under the Municipality’s agenda for restoring computers and laptops. The plan is intended for persons, institutions to donate computers generously to the center that are damaged or discarded .These computers are then repaired and donated to, social, charitable organizations. And educational institutions
This effective imitative helps in spreading the IT education in the emirate. Another benefit is the environment is preserved. Normally the individuals resort to selling damaged computer. Or they will store or keep them as trash or dump computers in landfills. Now all these things are avoided the computers are repaired and given to social cultural and educational institutions. Now it serves for a noble cause
