Rajiv Gandhi's 21st death anniversary was commemorated by pravasee deseeya congress (I) Kuwait.

Pravasee deseeya congress (I) central committee president Jacob Channapetta inaugurated the function. Adv. Thomas Panicker, Kaipattor Thankachen, Chessil Ramapuram, Kochapally Vijayabhanu, Premson, George Thomas and Jeyesh Onaseril and Jose Samuel and Anchal Jose were speaking at function.

He was visionary man and a leader of dynamism stated by Jacob Channapetta while he was paying homage to Rajivji.

Rajiv Gandhi's death has shocked the world; Rajiv Gandhi became prime minister after his mother, Indira Gandhi, was assassinated by her own Sikh bodyguards in 1984.

Rajiv Gandjhi's efforts created MTNL in 1986, and his public call offices, better known as PCOs, helped spread telephones in rural areas.

Gandhi began leading in a direction significantly different from his mother's socialism. He improved bilateral relations with the United States – long strained owing to Indira's socialism and close friendship with the USSR — and expanded economic and scientific cooperation.
