If you happen to share your pc with another person, you would not want the person to see your history of internet browsing. In almost all major browsers, it is easy to remove the record.

The following tips are useful to remove your browsing history in internet explorer, Firefox, etc.

Remove your history of internet explorer

A very helpful keyboard shortcut is Ctrl +Shift Delete, for removing the internet explorer browser history. In the latest edition of internet explorer, if your press in combination these three shortcut keys, a dialog box will pop up and allows you to identify, what you intend to keep and what you wish to cleanse. Just verify the boxes closest to the history you wish to erase and then simply press delete. Now the job is finished.

Clearing the browser history in Firefox

Just like the Internet explorer, the user of Firefox, should use the same combination of shortcut keys, Ctrl +Shift Delete. If you are unable to view the complete list, of what you are able to delete and what you are unable to erase, just simply click on the details arrow to show the particulars. In firefox, you have the choice to select and clear the time range. You will be able to clear the last hour, the last 2 or 4 hour, or the last complete day or the full Firefox history.
