Magnitude 6.2 quake hits east coast of Honshu in Japan

Tokyo, May 14 (IANS) An earthquake measuring 6.2 on the Richter scale hit region near east coast of Honshu island in Japan at 7.35 (Beijing Time) Saturday, the US Geological Survey said.

 
 The epicentre, with a depth of 37.60 km, was initially determined to be at 37.38 degrees north latitude and 141.41 degrees east longitude.
