Kuwait Knanaya Cultural Association (KKCA) Conducted Indoor Program for Children

The Children’s wing of Kuwait Knanaya Cultural Association (KKCL) conducted first Indoor program of the year 2012 at Chachoos Auditorium on Saturday 21st April. The Program commenced at 10AM with traditional “Nadavili” & the Prayer song “Mathomman Nanmal onuu thudaggunnoo”. Mr. Thomas Mullappally invited the guests to the stage. KKCL Chairman Master Aknath Bibu welcomed everyone to the program and Rev. Fr. Philip Mudakalil inaugurated the function. KKCA President Mr. Reji Kunnasseril and Gen. Secretary Mr. Joby Pulikkolil delivered felicitation speeches and the vote of thanks was given by Master Jeswin Thomas.

The seminars for the children were led by Rev. Fr. Philip Mudakalil and Mr. Joby Pulikkolil. Children participated in Purathana Pattu Competion, Quiz, Group Discussions and other cultural activities with great enthusiasm. Our Lady of Arabia Fahaheel and St Mary’s Abbasiya Koodarayogams won first and Second Prizes respectively in the Traditional Song’s Competition.

The following children were elected as office bearers of KKCL for the year 2012.

• Area Co-Coordinators
o Abbassia: Akhil Binoj, Joel Joseph, Tom Stephen, Adona Johny
o Reggai: Renya Reji
o Salmiya: Jushi Cyriac
o Fahaheel: Thamanna Thomas, Jikhil Aby

The program gave lot of good moments to children and they have enjoyed and benefited from the program very much which were aimed to enhance morality, self-confidence and overall personality development. More than 100 children attended the function. Mr. Johny Elambassery gave thanks to everyone for the efforts to make this program a grand success. Program came to an end at 4.30PM by singing our National Anthem “Jan Gana Mana”.
