Young – Woo NAM, The Counsellor of Economic & Commercial Section at The Embassy of the Republic of Korea thanked “United Arab Shipping Company” (6 GCC Govt. owned Organization) for granting Commercial ship building businesses to Korean Heavy Industrial Companies. There were Nine “A13 (13,500 TEU) Ships” ordered by UASC worth of USD1.5 Billion in 2008.

During the side-lines of the meeting, NAM extended sincere thanks and appreciation to Dr. Ghalib Al-Mashoor, The Investment Manager of Treasury Department who represented UASC for attending the first ever Conference held at Sheraton Hotel recently under the title “Kuwait-Korea Investment Forum”. The Conference was organized by National Bank of Kuwait, (A+ rated bank by S&P and “The Safest Bank in the Middle East”).
