The Kerala Samajam, Frankfurt e.v., was established in the year 1970. It is a wholly a cultural organization that furnishes the cultural and social requirements of the Indian community in general and the Malayalee community in particular living in the vicinity of Frankfurt, Germany. One of the major pioneer organizations in Germany is the Frankfurt Kerala Samajam. For more than three decades, the Samajam plays a vital role in incorporating the Malayalee community in the German method maintaining the affluent Indian tradition and Indian culture.

Other than celebrating the normal festival like the Easter, Onam, Vishu, Christmas, the associations take much attention in receiving the well-known celebrities from Indian and bring them close to the Indian community in Germany.

The samajam also runs a Malayalam school for a number of years. The “Multikulturamt“, the office of the multicultural promotional activities assists the Samajam in running the school. The Indian consulate also has assured them to grant some financial aid.
