Insomnia causes depression

People who suffer from Insomnia are likely to suffer from depression and other health disorders.

A study conducted on Insomnia reveals people who suffer from sleeplessness, gets easily depressed when compared to people who dozes off easily.

The research say that the depression gets doubled up in older people including women who suffer from insomnia.

Complaints regarding having proper sleep have become quite common. Fifty percent of the individuals, who have crossed the age of 65 yrs, say that they have trouble in sleeping.

In the US, a number of people suffer from sleeplessness. Researches reveal that insomnia leads to psychiatric diseases such as Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome, Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), and the commonly called Depression.

The lack of sleep physically causes changes in the chemistry of the body. It influences the hormones in the body and causes changes. Some people lessen insomnia by taking sleeping pills. Likewise natural therapies like drinking milk, listening to a soothing music or sleeping on a lavender pillow has found to minimize insomnia.
